Fragmented Friday...

Our Christmas wreath

I hope you're all having fun on the lead up to Christmas Day. I'm slowly working my way through my crazy month. Only thing left major before we go away is our pre-Christmas catch-up lunch with Tim's family tomorrow. Fingers-crossed the weather will be fine and we'll be able to sit outside... Otherwise, I'm in trouble. If only I had that deck!

I thought I'd share with you some of the Christmas wreaths I've made recently and over the years. I was lucky enough to have one featured on a favourite blog of mine, bloesem living where they're featuring people's Christmas decorations from around the world. A really sweet idea!

Also, Luke's special Christmas wreath complete with a kookaburra!

I've also included another Driftwood Christmas tree I've just made for a girlfriend.

Then there are some photos of 'Baz' our beautiful, tabby cat. When we bought him I remember the lady saying to cuddle and carry him as much as possible as that will make him an affectionate cat. We certainly did that and he's such a loving part of our family. If you're wondering what we do with him when we go away up North, he travels with us in the car for seven hours (in a large cat carrier) and stays on a farm near Bowraville. He then flies home when Tim has to leave us and return to work. While we're having a seaside holidays, he's having a farm stay!

Enjoy your weekend. Px

The shell wreaths are gorgeous Pru! I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas together on your holiday.

PS. I met a friend for coffee this morning and she was telling me all about a friend of a friend who makes beautiful wooden Christmas trees and shell dolls. Sure enough she pulled out a slip of paper with Flotsam Friends on it. I was able to say hey, I know her from blog land! : )

Hi Pru! You really have some beautiful treasures over here and I've been enjoying myself having a look around. Thanks for your visit to my blog and to answer your question about the ornament wreath, I just used the crimped wire style, but the 2nd one I made I used a wire hangar which was much easier. Just twist the top apart and string them on and you already had a place to hang them with and attach a ribbon to! Your little Baz is adorable and Luke's kookaburra wreath is precious! ~Lili

Love the natural wreaths, Pru... they're very much what I'd expect from a nature girl. And Luke's is great, reminds me of a kookaburra song we sang as kids... I'm hummming it as I type.

I never did get around to my driftwood tree, but I'm ok about it. Would rather take my time & think it through rather than toss it together.

Kitty sure got lucky when she "found" your family :-)
