I bought all of these cups for $4.00. They so remind me of that one day a year we were allowed into the teacher's staff room at primary school (Kenmore State School in Brisbane) to watch the Melbourne Cup. They're very 80's. I'm wondering if they were popular world-wide or just in Australia?
They're heading to my husband's new office space in East Balmain. We are going there over the weekend to assemble some Ikea tables. I can't wait to help him furnish it. The cups are just the beginning!
Hope you're having a great Friday. I usually work today but have the day off with Gus who has bad asthma. It's the perfect sick day as it's rainy and cold here in Sydney. Px

I remember these coffee cups too and stopping school to watch the Melbourne Cup, it was so much fun missing out on a bit of school work;) Oh it's very rainy and cold here too. I hope Gus feels better soon. Have a good weekend. xo

They make me think of the snow, I used to spend a week skiing in Guthega every year, staying at a friend's parents lodge and it was very 1970s/80s.... probably still is! Have fun decorating the new office space! x
